If you enjoy working out with the support of a tailor-made programme, our gym has a great range of cardiovascular and resistance machines for you to use. You can enhance your programme using our Power Plate ® machine, free weights and multi-functional areas. We also have a new eGym studio which can allow you to workout on a small hub of easy-to-use, interactive fitness machines.

Our qualified gym team are on hand to offer advice and help you make the most of your workout.

Our dedicated team can help you vary your workout with a variety of different exercises to help build and tone muscle with our free weights and multi-function training areas.

Power Plate®

If you enjoy an active lifestyle, but do not have time for a lengthy workout then our Power Plate® machine is ideal. Acceleration Training™ using Power Plate® machine offers a variety of benefits that allow fitness goals to be easily achieved or exceeded. These benefits include measurable outcomes, such as increased muscle strength and flexibility, better core conditioning and stability.

Our Power-30 dynamic workouts are aimed at those who want the fastest way to get fit and strong. These 30 minute extensive classes are an effective way of maximising your time whilst reaping health benefits. Delivered by our fitness professionals who will inspire and encourage you to reach new goals try one of our new classes today.

Junior Gym

Thinking about getting active? Then get yourself down to our Junior Gym!  Friendly, trained gym instructors are always on hand to offer advice on equipment and exercise.

For those juniors aged 12 – 15 years we have dedicated junior gym sessions which are listed below:

As a member you are also entitled to book your slot up to 7 in advance. Non-members can book up to 2 days in advance.

eGym

eGym is a circuit, based around a small hub of easy-to-use, interactive fitness machines. The equipment is linked to powerful software which will give you a unique analysis, based on a range of factors including your age, strength and weight.
Using the eGym will enable you to:

  • Workout effectively for just 30 minutes twice a week with guaranteed results
  • Develop a suitable fitness plan based on your individual needs
  • Monitor your progress during the exercise routine
  • Reduce the negative effects of health conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure
  • Rehabilitate after suffering an injury

Exercise Referral

We also deliver a comprehensive exercise referral service. An exercise referral is a formal process whereby a clinician refers a patient to their local leisure provider to receive extended structured, (medical) condition-specific exercise instruction.

Get the best out of your fitness goals and personal achievements with some 1:1 personal training delivered by our fully qualified REPs Level 3 Personal trainers today.

Each of our Personal Trainers has a vast wealth of experience and will help you to reach your goals whilst having a positive experience at The Venue. Our Personal Training programs can be used to train for a specific event, increase overall fitness and energy levels and help maintain a healthy weight plus offer nutritional advice.

Jonathan is a highly motivated trainer and driven personal trainer with a reps level 3 certificate who specialises in strength training and fat loss with personal programmes to achieve your strength and fitness goals.

If you are unable to attend your booked PT session, please note that we have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you have a block booking of 5 or 10 sessions and you fail to attend without giving 24 hours cancellation, you will be deducted one PT session from your allotted block. Pay as you go PT sessions must be paid for at least 24 hours in advance of your booking. Failure to attend without giving 24 hours cancellation notice you will be charged full price for your PT session.
