Swimming

Swimming is enjoyable for the whole family. Whether you enjoy an early morning workout with a lane swim, an energetic Aqua Class, a splash session with the family or perhaps a gentle evening swim to relax after a hard day, we have a variety of sessions available, throughout the week.

We have a 25 metre, 8 lane swimming pool and a 12 metre teaching pool, which is perfect for our swimming lessons. Our pools are also used for school swimming lessons and club swimming.

Remember to bring a £1 for lockers (refundable).

Please note we have a number of swimming gala’s taking place which will affect the pool opening times.

Pool Inflatables

Our new Pool inflatables are suitable for ages 8 years and above. There will be fun floats available in the pool at the same time for younger siblings, please ask at reception so that you can book at the same time.

• Saturday’s at 1.30pm – 2.30pm
• Cost just £6.75 per person

New summer sessions

• Every Friday at 2.30pm – 3.30pm from the 3rd July – 28th August (excludes the 7th August)

New Sunday session from September

• Sundays at 1.30pm – 2.30pm

All children under 16 must complete a swim test before using the inflatable, the swim test consists of 10 metres of unassisted swimming.

Children under 8 years old may use the inflatable only if they pass the swim test and are accompanied by an appropriate adult.

Under 8s may only go halfway along the inflatable.

The accompanying adult must either be on the inflatable with the child or providing direct supervision from poolside.

Fun float sessions

• Summer sessions every Tuesday at 1.30pm – 2.30pm from the 7th July to 25th August and Wednesday at 1.30pm – 2.30pm from the 29th July to 26th August.
• Teaching pool fun floats every Saturday at 1.30pm – 2.30pm
