Work has begun on the Sauna and Steam area at The Venue, we are expecting to open in May.
The refurbished area will be a relaxing, calm environment with sauna and steam rooms, heated benches, rainfall shower, ice fountain and relaxation area. Using sauna and steam facilities as part of your wellbeing routine can help to destress, relieve aches and pains, relax your muscles and detox your skin.
Sauna
A ‘dry’ heat treatment in a wood-lined room with a temperature reaching 90 C, designed to induce perspiration to cleanse the body of impurities.
Sauna bathing often claim health benefits that include detoxification, increased metabolism, weight loss, increased blood circulation, pain reduction, antiaging, skin rejuvenation, improved cardiovascular function, improved immune function, improved sleep, stress management, and relaxation.
Steam Room
A ‘wet’ heat treatment, designed to operate at temperatures of up to 50oC and regulated by a thermostat with relative humidity of 80 to 100%. Simply relax in the steam room for a short period of time and let the wellness properties of heat and steam work their magic. Benefit from added aromas, and essential oils, all of which can increase the benefits and enhance the experience.
